AXIA attended the 1st review meeting of AccelWater project

Great work done so far for the Accelwater consortium! Yesterday, the 23rd of June, the H2020 European AccelWater project partners gathered online for the first Review meeting, aiming to assess the progress for the first 18 months of the project implementation.
AccelWater project’s main objective is to optimize freshwater water consumption in the food and beverage industry under a water-waste-energy nexus by introducing beyond state-of-the-art water reclaiming, reusing and Artificial Intelligence enabled monitoring and control technologies will permit the use of reclaimed water in the manufacturing processes and on the same time will allow waste and energy reclamation, optimization and management, and consequently will result to environmental and socioeconomic sustainability.
AXIA Innovation leads WP9 focused on the exploitation and business plans for the 4 industrial demonstrators Industrial Symbiosis, Tomato, Meat and Fish and the replication strategy of the AccelWater systems in the food and beverage industry. AXIA presented the progress implementation on the definition of the Key Exploitable Results, KER, and the business plans, the Intellectual Property management and the marketing activities as well as the methodology for replication assessment towards the feasibility studies for the new sites interested in implementing the circular waste-water-energy solutions.
