“ENERGY in BUILDINGS” is an established International Conference that was held for the 6^th consecutive year in Athens. The conference was organised in collaboration with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), Hellenic Navy, Attiko Metro, and took place in Athens on Saturday October 21, 2017.

Keynote Speakers of the conference were ASHRAE Presidential Member Thomas Phoenix, Research Policy Officer of the European Commission DG Research & Innovation D3. Advanced Materials and Nanotechnologies Dr. Olga Rio Suarez, Managing Director ATTIKO METRO Theodoros Papadopoulos, Technical Chamber of Greece President Georgios Stasinos, as well as invited speakers from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Serbia, Sweden, UK, Denmark, Lebanon, Egypt, Germany etc.

AXIA Innovation was present and Sponsoring the Special EC Workshop. The Workshop’s theme was “Research and Innovation activities in nanotechnology concerning Energy Efficient Buildings”, where consortiums actively related to Nano and Advanced Building Materials, Industrial Supply, production engineering and services, as well as research and development, in the EU, have presented finalised and ongoing projects funded by the European Commission and coordinated by academia and/or industry.
