In this virtual session, AXIA is showcasing the Physical Facilities, Infrastructures, Capabilities and Services offered by the BioNanoPolys innovation ecosystem, and how you can request limited free access through the Open Call! With the collaboration of the Bionanopolys Coordinator, ITENE, to present the project and its goal towards sustainability.

Applicants are required to submit a proposal through the online application platform, outlining their idea, including its potential impact, and feasibility, by replying to a set of precise questions. The proposals will be evaluated by the Bionanopolys project panel of experts based on the evaluation criteria such as innovation, scientific excellence, and impact.

The cluster event is open to individuals, startups, and established companies that have innovative ideas or technologies in the field of biotechnology and nanotechnology and don´t want to miss the opportunity to implement them for free through the Bionanopolys Open Call!

What is the benefit of Bionanopolys OITB?

One of the key benefits of the Bionanopolys OITB is that it offers the opportunity to network with other experts in the field of biobased nanomaterials and polymer nanocomposites. Bionanopolys serves a holistic service portfolio, where participants will have the opportunity to meet and engage with other researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors, which can lead to potential collaborations and partnerships.

 

What is Bionanopolys looking for?

Bionanopolys is looking for novel ideas related to biobased nanomaterials and polymers nanocomposites. The ecosystem has already developed applications related to textiles, packaging, cosmetics, and 3D printing and is looking for more challenges.

Bionanopolys’ offer embraces legal entities such as SMEs, Start-up Companies, Large Entities, Research Centres, and University Groups from Europe and internationally.

 

What does Bionanopolys Open Call offer?

Bionanopolys offers an opportunity for applicants to get their ideas validated and/or upscaled for free, by providing access to world-class research infrastructure, technical expertise, and consulting resources through the Open Call. These include the upgraded 14 pilot plants services to develop materials and products, process parametrisation, and route-to-market support.

Selected participants will be offered free access to some of the Bionanopolys research and development facilities, including laboratories, equipment, and technical staff, to develop and test their ideas. They will also receive personalised mentoring and coaching from industry experts to refine their ideas and in addition, they will be offered one business and route-to-market services. Additionally, applicants will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas to potential investors, increasing their chances of securing funding for their projects.
