AXIA is organising the GREENER talks with consortium’s technical partners

AXIA is organising a series of interviews with the technical partners of the GREENER project. These GREENER talks kicked off with the University of Burgos team, where our project coordinator Dr Rocio Barros, as well as Prof Carlos Rad and Dr Blanca Velasco explained the GREENER concept as well as the involvement of UBU in the project implementation. Then University of Bath gave a talk on the “Use of BES technologies for soil bioremediation”, where Dr Mirella Di Lorenzo explained the involvement of University of Bath in the project and its progress so far. Materia Nova also participated in this initiative and GREENER talk on Using the bacterial ability to produce metallic particles as a remediation strategy. Dr Stephanie Roosa, Project Manager at Materia Nova, has offered an interesting talk explaining the involvement of Materia Nova in the project and the possibilities the GREENER project implementation is offering. The “Biostimulation of metal precipitation in a contaminated aquifer” talk offered by Dr Alfredo Perez de Mora, Project Manager on Soil and Groundwater Remediation from TAUW, shed light on the involvement of TAUW in the project and the progress achieved so far. Finally AXIA met up with Dr Eduard Borras, Project Manager in LEITAT, to discuss on the involvement of LEITAT in the project, their progress and achievements so far, in particular related to the “Development of bio-electrochemical systems (BES) and hybrid technologies for contaminated water”.
