On August 19, 2024, AXIA Innovation showcased the LIGNICOAT project at the ExpandFibre Final Seminar, a hybrid event held at Metsä Group HQ in Tapiola, Espoo. This seminar marked the culmination of the ExpandFibre Programmes and Ecosystem’s achievements and collaborations over the past four years.

The event attracted a significant audience, with 100 participants attending on-site and an additional 50-100 joining online. During the seminar, AXIA’s presentation highlighted the innovative aspects of the LIGNICOAT project and its potential impact on sustainable materials. The recent inclusion of LIGNICOAT in the ExpandFibre ecosystem marked a significant milestone, further enhancing the project’s visibility and reach.

As the work package leader on dissemination and exploitation, AXIA Innovation has been coordinating clustering activities, which play a significant role in the project’s success. By leading clustering activities, AXIA disseminates the project’s findings and fosters new synergies and collaborations within the industry. This proactive approach ensures that the LIGNICOAT project continues to gain momentum and achieve its goals.
