The Industrial Innovation Info Days was held between the 3^rd and 4^th of October 2017 in Brussels, under the auspices of the European Commission Directorate General for Research & Innovation.

The purpose of this event, which has gathered more than 1000 participants, was to inform stakeholders about activities in the ” Key Enabling Technologies” part of Horizon 2020.

The programme includes keynote addresses on current and future investments in EU research & innovation, as well as presentations on upcoming challenges in the area of Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing, and Biotechnology. The Info Days also involved significant networking activities. During brokerage and matchmaking sessions, participants had the opportunity to present their project ideas and meet potential partners from similar fields with a view to developing future project proposals. AXIA representatives arranged several meetings during the dedicated matchmaking event with European companies and Research Organisations, including RMIT Europe (Spain), Tomi Systems Ltd (Greece), Oaklins Arietti (Italy), t2i – technology transfer and innovation (Italy), FINOVATIS (France).

Stakeholders from Member States were involved in the organisation of the event and were present providing concrete advice to potential Horizon 2020 applicants.
